Dehradun: State Cabinet Minister Prakash Pant gave away awards to 23 young scientists on the concluding day of the 2nd National Young Scientists Conference -2010. It was jointly organised by the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST), Dehradun, the Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USERC), Dehradun, Vigyana Bharti, Nagpur University and Doon University in the state capital today. While delivering his inaugural address, Pant said that India had developed due to its intellectual and spiritual integrity, which was reflected in its age old belief system. This had the power to offer relevant solutions to today’s science and technological challenges that humanity was facing.
