Dehradun: Chairman of State Media Advisory Committee, Devendra Bhasin has criticised Congress for alleging scam in allotment of power projects to private firms by BJP Government. In a statement issued here today, Bhasin said that Congress ought to have looked into its own action before opposing the work done by BJP Government in the state’s interest. He claimed that Congress had taken it upon itself to criticise BJP without any rhyme and reason.
Bhasin claimed that allotment of all the 50 odd self identified projects to private firms had been made strictly as per the norms and that there was no scam or irregularity in this respect. About a dozen such projects had been awarded to local people only.
