Younger politicians being welcomed by people: Agatha Sangma

DEHRADUN: Agatha K Sangma, Union Minister of State for Rural Development thinks younger people taking up politics and people of country accepting them with open arm, is a good sign for the future politics. According to her, this will result in quality people joining politics.
Speaking to Garhwal Post, on the sideline of her visit to various units of HESCO (Himalayan Environment Studies and Conservation Organisation) here today, Agatha, who became the youngest MP at the age of 27 in 14th Lok Sabha, said “It is a good sign for the country that more younger people are taking up politics and are being accepted by the people. The young MPS can give better direction to the youths of the country”.
She maintained that the young people were more constructive in approach and could do constructive things in their life. According to this MP from Meghalaya, who is also a lawyer by profession, it was a positive sign for the country and the politics, as the young people were able to tap positive things.
