Unclaimed bag creates panic at ISBT

Dehradun: An unidentified bag was found at ISBT premises here today which caused panic at the ISBT. The Police was informed immediately as soon as the bag was located. The Bomb Disposal Squad was summoned by the Police, which opened the bag. However, fortunately, it turned out to be a false alarm as the bag contained vegetables and clothes, probably forgotten by some passenger.
A young man had informed the Police Control Room in respect of the presence of an unclaimed bag lying at ISBT around 5.15 p.m. The bag was lying in front of the Counter Number 11 of the Station.
The Clement Town and Patel Nagar Police Station In-charge reached the spot with force soon. The bomb disposal squad too followed soon. The bag was opened by the squad and it contained vegetables and some clothes. Everyone including the Police officials heaved a sign of relief.
