Nainital: Liladhar Pant, a resident of Thapla village today met the BJP State General secretary Suresh Joshi and demanded to bring to books the culprits of his son’s murder.
Joshi was told that his son Bhuwan Chandra Pant,a student of Amarpali Institute, Haldwani, had gone missing since 21st January and later his dead body was recovered but there seemed to be no progress in apprehending the assailants by Kaladhungi Police. Pant further told Joshi that he had taken loan from Allahabad Bank to finance the studies of his son. He threatened to immolate himself if the assailants were not nabbed. Joshi assured him to get the matter investigated by CBCID if needed. He had already held talks with the SSP in this regard and the inquiry would now be handed over to other police officers, said Joshi. He also told that the administration would also conduct separate enquiry into the matter.
