BJP demands more Railway projects in U’khand

Nainital: With the day of Union Railway Budget approaching soon, State BJP has started applying pressure is for inclusion of sanctioning laying of Railway track on Rishikesh-Karnapryag, Dehradun-Kalsi and Tanakpur –Bageshwar routes. Addressing a Press Conference here today, BJP General Secretary Suresh Chandra Joshi said that his party was also seeking modernisation of Lalkuan, Kashipur, Kathgodam and Haridwar Railway stations. Joshi lashed out at the Union Government for its discriminatory attitude towards Uttarakhand and other BJP ruled states. .He expressed satisfaction over publicising the achievements of the State government among the masses by the BJP workers.
The newly appointed Deputy Chairman of KMVN, Madhwanand Joshi said that more youth would benefit under the Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Scheme. To tap the immense possibilities of tourism that Uttarakhand possessed, new tourists spots would be explored to attract tourists and the existing Tourists Rest Houses of KMVN would be added with ultra modern facilities, asserted Madhwanand Joshi.
